We're back from our Sedona trip with parents, kids, and granddaughter. We had a wonderful time, but it was unseasonably hot (110 degrees PLUS). Anyway, here are a few pictures, which are cleverly (?) disguised attempts to show off my granddaughter! :D

This is DH and DD1 on our horseback ride:

This is DD and DGD petting a zebra at the stables. Did you know that zebras sound like a laughing person when they make the noise they make?

This is DGD in Oak Creek at Slide Rock, but she doesn't like to get her face wet, so she didn't slide!

This is on top of Submarine Rock in Sedona. DSIL, DD, DGD, their friends, and DH and I (on the right):

Hope you're all having a great summer!

(Edited to enlarge pictures--Thanks for the help!)

I'd love to see them bigger! Looks like you linked to your thumbnails from Imagestation. Try clicking on the thumbnails (on the Imagestation page) and see if it brings up a larger image. Then get the properties for that larger photo and post again. HTH.

I love Sedona! I went there in 95. It was so beautiful! I would love to go back someday. I'm glad to see you had a great time!

Hi Tami!

Great pics! As a matter of fact, a friend of mine and I visited an old friend from high school/early 20's tonight and she was looking for a good trip for her and her DD to take and my friend and I both suggested Sedona. It very much suits their lifestyle.

Looks like Imagestation is down so I will have to take a peek later. ;)

There really is a lot to do. DH and I spend a week or two there almost every year. If your friend decides to go and needs some recommendations for activities, let me know. There are also several really beautiful places to stay in a variety of prices. There are so many cool things to do outdoors. Of course, it's nice when there's no HEAT WAVE!
