I've enjoyed reading some recent threads on stress as well as the thread on achievement....and so I've been pondering...
What personality type are you and do you feel it helps or hinders your accomplishments/getting stuff done??
I'm a type A personality and if I could, I would do anything to change it.
When I'm in the "thick of things" and in full type-A, I "believe" I'm accomplishing so much more than my fellow type-B's.
After reading several articles, I am acutely aware I'm wrong...
Curious what you feel you are and how it affects your performance on things. :)
Thanks for answering ;)

Not sure if I fit into an A or B type personality. I get things done, most of the time, without causing anyone too much stress but there have been times when I explode when others seem to be waiting for something...
I don't like working on deadline so I try to get things going early. If I'm working for someone who waits to the last minute then I'm more likely to be fired :p or given the job next time  .
DH is a procrastinator extraordinaire and living with him has taught me patience!

Really? I thought that Type A's got more done, too! Could you share more about what you read?
I am a Type B with A tendencies. As I grow older, the A times get less and less frequent. I feel that I have a much better balance now with understanding "how important is it?" in my life.

I am big, fat (well, not literally ;) ) unequivocal type B! I never thought about how that effects my ability to get things done, though. I am not a procrastinator at all, so I feel like it's not a problem in general. But my calm nature may be a liability in ways I don't see. And I'm not about to start asking around about that! ;) :p

I don't know too much about type A or B personalities, I read about a different kind of types of which I am 70% choleric, 30% melancholy. The funny thing about it is that in a working environment I'm a workaholic, but at home I'm the greatest procrastinator. I'm the type who can always think of new projects to do, but I'm never the one who actually does them. By the time I've gotten the thing organized and working I get bored with it and next thing I know I'm already off planning a new project.

i mean dont get me wrong, i dont sit on my butt when i get home. i do stuff. but the problem is that i do too much stuff. i will think of a zillion projects to do, start them, but never finish them because i get bored & i develop a new project in my head.
