I checked out 2476 and there were a few empty offices, but I didn't see anything that would indicate it once was HitecPets. I also checked several phone books and couldn't find any listing for them. :confused: :confused: Do you have any additional details (do they have a website?)

OK. I checked the phone book and found them in the white pages, as well as finding their website. I did check out 2476 Palma and didn't see anything (that address has 5 or 6 different units), but I'll poke around in back and see if I missed something. I am now a woman on a mission. (My BF gets scared when I'm on the trail of a mystery)

Great. Just great. Reimbursement of my money, or getting collars that work is starting to look very grim.

Aside from that, Lucinda and Gail - you guys are the best! I am so grateful for your help!! Why didn't I think to look at the BBB?

It amazes me that this company is still taking orders over the internet, and are a Yahoo Top Quality rated website/service site. Just shows to go you - can't believe everything you see or read on the internet.

Maybe you should see if there is a way to notify Yahoo of the many problems. Sorry it doesn't look more promising to get your problem addressed. Sometime it just helps to know when to stop beating your head against the wall -- so to speak.

What was wrong with the pet contain system they sent you? I was thinking of buying one myself, but now that I've read your post I think I'll settle for another producer.

I'm definitely not going to buy their product now, since I found the same tools from a reputable company, PetSafe, for only $119.99 .
