Can marinated mushrooms solve your dinner dilemma??

The latest CL e-newsletter makes this intro to its lead recipe. Am I the only one here who probably would not serve button mushrooms on toothpicks as a solution to a dinner "dilemma"? I also could not cook said mushrooms for 20 minutes and have them still look just picked as they do in the picture. Also, are they covered with cookie sprinkles?? Just wondering...Shar

LOL, I thought the same thing!! I didn't think they looked cooked at all. How are they not shriveled to nothing?
Though, I still thought the recipe itself would be a good accompaniment (sp?) to something. I love mushrooms.

but actually, the recipe does state that it makes 12 appetizer sized servings. I think the title of the e-newsletter was silly. or just a bit misleading.
