I eat frozen foods pretty often. My favorite is Lean Cuisine mac & cheese. I use it as a side dish alot, or make it more of a meal by adding tuna &/or veggies. Does anyone else have a favorite frozen entree standby?

I hate to admit this, but my family loves Stouffer's mac and cheese and Stouffer's noodles romanoff as side dishes. Definitely not low-fat, but delicious as an occasional treat. Also, we split each one between 3 of us. Just joined Costco this fall, and have been trying their food. I love the frozen flounder fillets stuffed with crabmeat (don't remember the brand) and the frozen meatballs (Mrs. DeFilippo's or something), that I saute in a soy-based sauce or add to my own spaghetti sauce. They've saved my life when I get home late from work, my family's starving and I just don't have the energy to put together a whole from -scratch meal.

My husband and I like Stouffer's lasagnes -- they're great if you don't feel like cooking but also dont' feel like eating out. Admittedly, not low fat, but they're tasty and with a salad/bread, a good, easy meal.

My husband & I just discovered (though who knows how long they've been around) Stouffer's French bread pizza with grilled vegetables. 4 out of 7 nights, one or both of us are working late... we both LOVE pizza but have yet to find a decent frozen pizza that's actually not an arterial nightmare! They're not too bad- usually we'll have one with a green salad on the side.

We like Delimex frozen chicken taquitos. It's easy to fix and the boys can make their own meal with a bag of salad. Sometimes I use them as enchiladas, adding Old El Paso's sauce and some low fat chedar cheese.

Boy this is embarassing. I practically live off Healthy Choice Bowl Creations during the week when I am too busy studying to cook anything decent. I try to supplement them with fresh veggies or a salad.

Spinach & Mozzarella ravioli (Pasta Prima) from Costco. They also have one with a tri-mix of flavors: sundried tomato, cheese, and cheese & herbs, all in one bag. I cook the ravioli, toss with a little olive oil, and put some cheese-herb mixture (usually included in the bag) on it. Everyone likes this and we usually eat it with frozen lima beans (we are one of those few people who fight over who gets to eat the last lima beans in the pot), and some canned fruit. Nice quick easy dinner.
I also like the mesquite grilled chicken breasts from costco. They are already cooked and can be heated in the microwave in less than 5 minutes. I also use them frequently in recipes that call for cooked chicken breast--salads, or any mexican dish, many casseroles--they add an extra layer of flavor and only need to be thawed enough to cut into pieces. Yummy.

I've tried to cut a lot of the frozen stuff out - high sodium, additives, and all that. However, I don't think I'll ever give up my Mrs. T's pierogies!! And I like to keep raviolis in the freezer as well - making my own is nice, but not exactly practical.

We use frozen dinners once in a while when I'm just too tired to cook. Lean Cuisine used to have one that I loved and I haven't seen it for a while. It was called Chicken Piccata and had thin breaded chicken in a lemon type glaze- it was really good. My husband loves Roseo's(sp?) frozen manicotti but my super Walmart quit carrying it. Well I'm 0 and 2 for my picks!
Does it need to be frozen entrees or dinners? I like the plain soft Super Pretzels from J&J Snack foods. They are healthy, have no additives (besides the things that are already in the flour you buy), and they taste great. I even like them better than homemade soft pretzels!
