If you scroll down, there are some other similar knives -- looks like more expensive and one less expensive variation. ANyone familiar with the Wustof line enough to know the differences between them? I may try to get to Chef's and see what I can find out, but it's time to feed 5 boys now.

I love my set of Wusthof knives! I'm seriously considering buying this one that's on sale. It happens to match the Classic line of my other knives. Over in the Food side of the bb, there are some good recommendations for this specific knife.

I have the Wusthof Classic series also. Great knives!!! This doesn't look like it's on sale though. Looks like the regular price.

Amazon either ran out of them or realized they had too good a deal. The $59.99 price disappeared quite a few hours ago. It actually looks like the price is continuing to go up. It was almost $80 when I looked just a few minutes ago.

The price was good when I originally posted this and for some hours afterward, but it's gone now and there appears to be one left. (I noticed some other Friday Sale items were sold out, as well.)

Just goes to show you... Check the Friday sale early - and listen to your Aunt Diana when she tells about these great deals!

P.S. Mine cost about $20 more than this sale price when I bought it. :mad:
