Is anyone out there who can help me? My wife is making me look in my very cluttered attic for a back issue of cooking light. She is ranting and raving how the meat is thawed out and she needs the recipe!

It might be in a 2000 issue, I mean it's just beef brisket what's the big deal? But she swears she made it before and the kids actually ate some. I mean these kids are 5, 4 and 2 and to get them to eat any meatis almost impossible. It might be the beer... anyway for the sake of the children and so I can watch football all day, please if you have it can you email it to me?

Thanks for reading - You Rock!

Hi Jeff! That recipe is called "Onion-Smothered Roast Brisket and Vegetables" from the March 2000 issue and it does have beer in it. I don't have mastercook software so I can't quickly download it. Somebody will post it- if not then I'll type it up and get it to you. And speaking of football, we have the Cinti Bengals to contend with. My husband went to a game a month ago, not to see the Bengals, just to see the new stadium!

If anyone can post that recipe, I'd love to have it,too. Don't have the March issue.

Thanks everybody!!!

The brisket was terrific, if any of you ladies have a meat and potatoes husband (and who doesn't) try this on him. He'll be cheering you on...
