I came across the game just now while cleaning out a storage closet. I'll keep it if it has all the tiles, but I don't know how many that is (it's not on the box, nor could I find it online). Can anyone tell me the total number of tiles I should have in the box? Thanks!

100.
Procedure Scrabble uses a board of 225 squares (15 by 15), on which players form interlocking words using 100 ‘tiles’ bearing letters of the alphabet. Each letter has a score beside it. The board includes various ‘premium squares’ on which players can score extra points.
Found it here (http://www.askoxford.com/wordgames/scrabble/scrabblerules/)

You can check, too, on the bottom left hand corner of the Scrabble board. There's a letter frequency chart. :)

Girls' night out at Canice's!! :D
Tyra, I start a potentially nutty month-long freelance gig tomorrow, but maybe a Bay Area klatch in September? Visit the new farmers' market/Ferry Plaza market place??

I have some brie kisses frozen from last weekend...and lets see after somthing that uses the mind (like scrabble) I'd have to play something a little less strenuous...Jenga anyone?

OOH, count me in! I found a recipe for black plum tart in an old cookbook, and I could make that!
We could have coffee and plum tart and other nummies and play scrabble!
Hm. It might take me a while to get there, since they aren't recommending flying at the moment...
