Here's my new 'baby'. She's quite a character. I went and weighed her today. She weighs in at a whopping 7.7 lbs. Her big brother Harley is about 144, but she's not scared of him.

This was taken the day after she was rescued. I call it her Mug Shot.

Oh she's soooooooooo cute! What breed(s) is she, if you know? I think it's awesome that you rescued her. All my pets have been rescued. ;)

I'm beaming like a proud parent.

For anyone who missed my thread earlier this week, Peanut was rescued at a kids' camp I was at last week. She was definitely an unplanned baby. Her and her brother were found one morning in the woods. They appeared to be 5-6 weeks old. I immediately volunteered to take the girl and a counselor in my cabin took the boy. His name is Albert. Peanut and Albert are named after camp skit characters from last year.
Anyhow, some kind person brought them back to Dallas on Thursday, and I was able to pick her up Sunday. It's been an interesting week, to say the least!
Harley is warming up to her, but occasionally does feel the need to let her know who is boss. It doesn't seem to phase her though.

I know in about a week, I'll have some really great pictures of her and Harley that I will post on my webpage (Yes, I'm a nerd).

We live on 2.5 acres, I have plenty of room, but DH says not right now. :(
