OK, OK I am offcially starting the low carb eating TODAY!!! I am still confused on the Atkins plan. Am I understanding the induction period correct: No, fruit, dairy, carbs (except 20 gram) or fat (except olive oil)? I thought that mayo and other fats were good for this plan? It also look like P.Butter is ok for SBD induction?? That being said I am leaning to combining SBD and Atkins thinking it is easier to handle. I am going to Walmart to buy the SBD book. We went to dinner with friends the other night and the DH looked great. They said he stopped eating carbs at night (dinner and snacking) and lost 25+lbs. Oh well, to the refrig. I go to look or breakfast. I guess not too many options but eggs.

???Im not sure where you got your info. Did you read the Atkins book? If that is the plan you chose, you need to read the book. I have read Somersize, Atkins, South Beach and Protein Power (yes Im an information nerd)
Check out the Atkins website if that is the plan you want to use
but also read the book:)
You can find South Beach info at
Here is a website with a message board for Somersize
but it isnt nearly as generous with the information as the other 2. You would definately need to get the book to get any info.
Same with the Protein Power plan
there isnt much info onthe site
