Let's have supper in the Atlanta area

Do you want to start a supper club in the North Metro Atlanta area?
I am a 31 year old teacher who LOVES making recipes from my issues of Cooking Light. I am seeking other women looking for an opportunity for fun, food and friendship. I live in the Alpharetta area. Is there anyone out there who wants to start a new club? I look forward to hearing from you.

I posted the original thread about starting a supper club in Atlanta. I live in Alpharetta, but I am willing to go other places. If we were to start something up and things go well, then maybe we could take turns going different places.
I am a teacher so my schedule is hectic but workable. My husband may or may not be interested in joining us - I guess it would just depend on the group.
I am really excited about the idea of starting something up. I have read the stories about how well some of the clubs are doing and it makes me want to get out there and start something up too!
If you are interested, it would probably be good for us to get together for a dinner at first - maybe at a restaurant in a neutral location - to see if we want to pursue things further.

I have a hectic work schedule but with advance notice I can be flexible with a date. I enjoy cooking and I am new to Atlanta so I am interested in meeting people.

I posted awhile ago, but I have seen a recent increase in activity of these boards, probably due to the piece in CL this month about supper clubs! I've noticed that some people want a club in the north metro area, and others live more intown. I'm suggesting especially for those intown, or Decatur, Buckhead (but anyone for that matter), please email me and I will put together a mailing list and send an email to everyone so we can figure something out! I'd like to get this supper club started! Thanks!

First, I am sorry that I have not gotten a chance to get us all organized and together before now. At first I was waiting to hear what kind of response we would get (and we got a pretty big response); then I got caught up with being a busy teacher at the beginning of the school year! A thousand apologies.
We've had a huge response! Let's get started!

It sounds like a group mainly in their 20's and 30's, women and/or couples. Anyone who is interested is invited.

If you are interested in being a part of a North Metro supper club, let's meet on Sunday, September 14 at 6:00. Since we really don't know where everyone is going to be coming from, I am going to suggest that we meet at the Cheesecake Factory at Perimeter Mall. Please email me at kbartlett@mindspring.com if you are interested in joining us and I will call ahead to get a table. Look for the balloons -- that is where you will find me!
