I searched and searched to no avail--hope this hasn't already been reviewed. I read about this recipe on the bulletin board here somewhere so i searched epicurious.com for barbecue burgers and it was the first to pop up!
The burgers were very very tasty with the barbecue sauce in them, but what made the burgers was the bbq caramelized onions (there's a link to this recipe via the burger recipe). they were easy to make and smelled fantastic and tasted even better! I used Trader Joe's 7% fat ground beef and followed the recipe (except i had to scale it down). I would highly recommend these!!
Edited to say--skip the cheddar if you want--i put it on there but you couldn't taste it for the yummy onions!
