Shagbark:
I too am relatively new to the area. I'm interested in joining a club. I'm kind of confused by how to use this bulletin board. When did you first post the message? Am I too late? My husband and I live in West Chester. Where are you located?

Hi,

Terrific! We have been looking for a supper club to
join. I've been in Cincy for a little over a
year, but would like to meet more people & enjoy
a good meal once in a while. So, if it's not too
late, I'd be interested in joining the supper
club you're organizing. Thanks!

I've just moved back to the Cincinnati area after attending college and grad school. I love cooking but have a hard time getting myself to cook for just me. I'd love to be involved in a supper club to meet some new people and get me back into cooking!

I tried to post a reply before but ended up posting a new thread. I am new to Cincinnati (we live in Mason) and would be interested in being part of a supper club. Have you found enough people or is there still room?

I know this thread is several years old, but am hoping to get a response anyway. I live in Maineville, north of Cincinnati, and am interested in either joining a current supper club or organizing a new one.

I am new to Dayton (not so far from Cincy) from Chicago. I love to cook although I can't claim to be good at it YET. I would love to get out, meet some people and have some good food. Let's do it.

Yay! Can I email you to discuss details? Are there other Cincinnatians (or Daytonians and others in between) who are interested in forming a supper club?

I am looking to join a supper club in the area. I started cooking a year ago and have become addicted to cooking and learning new techniques. I take classes every so often and tivo many shows. I am female, have been in the area for a few years and would like to meet more people that share this interest.

Other Daytonians please feel free to check out the new posting thread that ChristineO started for Dayton area. So far I am the only person to reply to her post, but then it just went up last night.

Not that I am above driving to Cincy.....but it would be really great to have a local group (hey, maybe we could occasionally have some joint gatherings....or try out new restaurant experiences together if having a huge group of folks in our homes is too much).

Just "food" for thought :p

Ok, all of those interested in a Cincinnati group, please email me and maybe we can meet somewhere soon at a restaurant or coffeehouse to discuss details and a plan.

The other day I watched on tv about cooking club. I'm so interested about it. Immediately I surf the internet and found this website.

I'm about 1 1/2 hr drive from home to Cincinnati. I wonder if there's any kind of this activity around Georgetown, Maysville OHIO.

I love to cook. Sometimes I cooked some asian cuisine and give some to my friends. Well, I'm not that good cook but can consider it as OK.

I love to join like this kind of activity but the problem I dont drive. What a pity ha! If there's any chance, is my husband welcome too as he is my personal driver at the moment.

I live in the south Dayton area, Centerville to be exact. I'm not having much luck finding Dayton people to form a cooking club, so I was wondering if any of you Cincinnati foodies were located to the north and interested in creating a cooking group for those of us who live somewhere in between Cincy and Dayton. Just trying to think logistically.

Hmmm. I don't think that Centerville is too bad of a drive from where I live (30 miles north of Cincinnati), but it would be quite a drive for others who live closer to Cincinnati. I emailed the Cincinnati people interested in joining up, so I think we should just set a date and time to meet each other, and then if the distance proves too much of a hassle, we can figure something out. Any suggestions for a meeting place and time?

Notice to all Cincinnatians wishing to form a new club: Saturday, October 8, 12 pm. I would like to meet at the Bonbonerie to get to know one another- http://www.thebonbon.com/bon/bbtearoom.asp- (while they do have an afternoon tea, I was thinking that we could get lunch, as they have nice soups, sandwiches and salads and such). I have been in contact with several of you, but if others would like to join, it is not too late. Please email me to tell me you are coming so we know how many will be there.

I am new to the Cincinnati Area and just saw the show on the food network about Cooking Clubs. I think that this is a great way to meet new people. Please email me if there is any room in anyone's club.
