East Sac gal looking for pals to start Tues, Thursday, or Friday supper club? Interested. I have done this before and it was great fun!;)
Hi Linn,
I am interested in participating in a Supper Club in Sacamento. I saw your message last week but haven't been able to post anything until now. Please let me know if any kind of a meeting has been set up. I live in Elk Grove.

Hi Linn,
I live in East Sac too! I'd love to make some new friends in this area. With winter coming, this is a great venue. I might have a scheduling conflict (I work evenings) but we might be able to work something out.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Linn,
I live in the Natomas area and am interested in joining a supper club. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Tammy Dunlop
Hi Linn,
It looks like you have received more interested responses. You had suggested Tues. or Thursday evenings or even an early Sunday dinner. I'm open to all these suggestions. Look forward to getting a meeting set up to meet everyone interested and discuss further.

Hey all,
Cooking Light suggested we meet informally first to talk about our potential supper club. Anyone interested in trying to do it this week or next? A quick cup of coffee in a central place would be great.
BTW, I made the chicken marsala in this month's edition last night, it was yummy...and easy!

An informal meeting sounds good to me. I can't meet this Thursday and I'm available all next week.

How late is too late for y'all? I work until 7:30p (so could meet at 8-ish) on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Also, I'm open this weekend if you want to maybe get together on Sat. or Sunday for a quick coffee (anytime after 10:00 a.m.)

8ish is fine with me or this weekend any day is fine with me also.
Tammy
It seems like a meeting this weekend will work for us - how about 11:00 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday? Someone pick a location and day and I'll be there.

Saturday is good for me. Since you initiated this Linn, let's do it in your neck of the woods. Seems that's brunch time, I know I'll be hungry. How about 33rd Street Bistro? Bernardo would be good too, but I think it's easier for us to meet at 33rd by the bench outside the front door, plus they'll seat us.

Hey all,
Dah, is Linn still here?
We've haven't heard from Linn on this thread but I did send her an email to give her a heads up about the postings and the meeting being scheduled for this weekend. Hopefully she'll respond soon.

Hi gals! I am still here! Thank you, Linda, for giving me a heads up that there were new postings. I am new to this type of posting activity--Cooking Light told me when I received the first one, so I assumed they would continue to do so. Obviously haven't checked in a while!
Would love to get together this weekend to chat. I have a class on Saturday until 11 ish or so, so I could meet after that or on Sunday anytime. 33rd St. Bistro sounds great. Let me know whichever works best for all!
Look forward to it.

This weekend sounds fine for me. I'm open to anytime. Just let me know when. :-)

It looks like Saturday will work for everyone - do we want to meet at 33rd Street Bistro at 11:30? My vote is yes.

11:30 on Saturday sounds good. I've never been to the 33rd St. Bistro. I'm assuming it's on 33rd. 33rd & what? Looking forward to meeting everyone!

33rd Street Bistro...3301 Folsom Blvd, 95816. It's just east of Business 80 (from Roseville), exit J St., turn left, then right on Alhambra, left on Folsom, two blocks (or so) down on left hand side. From Natomas, go 5 south toward BUSINESS 80 to Reno, take the N. Street exit, stay on N til you hit Folsom, take a right, it's on the left. Parking's tight, you can park in the neighborhood if there's nothing in the little itty bitty parking lot behind the restaurant. There's a park bench out front of the door. We could all meet there. This sounds like fun! I'm really looking forward to it.
Suzi
Suzi,
Will we need reservations? If so, would you like to make them?

11:30 it is on Saturday at 33rd St. Bistro. I will bring a copy of Cooking Light and wait outside by the bench. Looks like we have 5 so far?

I think there are 5 of us. Linn, Linda B., Linda V., Tammy and me. Is this right? I asked a gal at work if she wanted to meet us, I'm not sure if she'll show up. I don't think 33rd takes reservations. It shouldn't be a big deal to get a table. Especially at that hour.
See you all there!
