I am interested in getting a supper club started in the Columbus, Ohio area. (It could actually be brunch/lunch/whatever.) Let me know if anyone is interested. If you respond, I can contact you via e-mail with more info.
Thanks!

Hi!
I saw your post about starting a Cooking Light group in Columbus and I wanted to let you know about one we have had going for almost 2 years on the Northwest side of town. If you are interested in joining, please let me know! Our next event is Sun, Sept. 28 at 5pm and the theme is Tailgating - New Orleans style. Look forward to hearing from you!

I have a couple of other folks who are also interested, so I say let's organize a second supper club in Columbus. How should we organize this? We could pick a time to organize over the internet or we could just organize a first organizational potluck. My best time is on the weekend. What does everyone else want to do?

It might be easiest to meet at a restaurant or coffee shop for the first time. We would have a chance to introduce ourselves and to decide where and when we want to get together.

Weekends would probably work best for me too, but I could also make a meeting in the evening during the week.

I live in the Hilliard area so meeting somewhere on the west/northwest side of town is best for me. We can pick a more central location, of course, if other people do not live over this way.

Why don't we meet one evening after work to organize. Avariell e:mailed saying that she's having a hard time posting to this web page, but suggests the same and it sounds like KaraR lives in the same general area as Avariell. I live in the Short North area and work on the East side. Why don't those interested in meeting to organize this second group send me an e:mail so we can more easily coordinate a first meeting this week or next to organize. I'm open to any meeting time/place suggestions, but will be out of town this weekend.

For anyone planning on attending the 9/21 organizational meeting, please note that some scheduling conflicts came up with the majority of those planning on attending and it will be rescheduled. Please stay tuned for more details!

Is anyone still looking to start a club or add a new member to an existing club? I am moving to Powell in a few weeks and would really enjoy meeting some people who love to cook and eat healthy...:)
