North Texas Supper Club

Hi--there is a group of us in the Lewisville-Carrollton-Denton area that have been cooking for nearly 2 years. We are wanting to add another 1 or 2 people to our group.
Husbands aren't included, though everyone except me is married and most have children. We try and meet every 6 weeks or so and rotate homes. The hostess picks the theme and makes the main course. Everyone else decides what they want to take to accompany the main dish and we correspond via email. Usually, we each just make one dish, but occasionally someone will do multiple things. We mostly make the stuff ahead of time, but we have assembled things like spanakopitas together.

I really hope you are still looking for another member for your supper club. You see, I am a Sooner fan born and bred, and my husband is a Longhorn (boo, hiss, hiss). And with the football season gearing up, I need all the help I can get! I am 28, married, gainfully employed in the design industry, and looking for a hobby and some new friends (most of my friends and family are in Tulsa). I love cooking and entertaining and I live in North Dallas (Frankford and George Bush--I also work in Carrollton). I look forward to hearing from you!

I was about to say join us, but I did a count and we are up to 10 now. I'm going to have to hold off for now, because I'm afraid any more would be to many (and I only have dishes for 8, haha). I'm not even sure most of us have seating for that many!

So sorry! I'll remember you if we ever need more though.

You might try posting your own supper club thread to get another North Texas one going.
