Did you see the part at the end that said the big, fruity reds like Argentinian, Australian and Chilean have the most resveratol. Time to break out the Shiraz ;).

LOL! :D
And isn't it nice that Australia produces so many really good, reasonably priced red wines???!!! Woohoo!
I'm just finding fewer and fewer reasons to avoid that glass of wine at dinner..... :)

I drink some red wine, but it sounds like I need to drink more. Some one list a few reds from say Australia or Spain or Chilie that are good please (fruity ones).
TIA from a wine novice.

A really good Australian wine for a novice red wine drinker is Rosemount's Cabernet/Shiraz blend. It has a purple label and costs about $6.99 at H.E.B. It is very smooth and fruity.

Another good one is La Crema Pinot Noir. Very smooth, very cherry-tasting. Note: La Crema is from California and runs anywhere from $13 at Sam's to $18.00 when not on sale.

I was told that eating peanuts causes appendicitis. Was that an old wives tale?

When I was a kid it was cashews, definitely an old wives tale.
