Supper Club in Richardson or Plano Texas

I'd like to know if anyone is interested in forming a supper club in the Richardson or Plano, TX area. Or if there's one I could join.

and June and Jerry are in Richardson. We are an eclectic group with young (30ish) and older (50ish) professionals spread out from North Fort Worth, Grapevine to Frisco.
There is another North Dallas group that formed 6 mos ago (?) , you may want to check the archives.

Let's actually set a date for everyone who is interested to get together and talk about the options. If we need to, we can split into a couple of groups (for example, downtown and North Dallas or girls only and couples). Is everyone game for Friday night, October 3rd? We can find a centrally located Starbucks or something.

I know it will be hard to choose a centrally-located spot until we know where we are all coming from, but how about the Starbucks at Preston and Park? Maybe 6:00? Also, how many will be bringing their significant others?

There are several Starbucks in the Preston/Park area - which one specifically? There is the one inside the Barnes & Noble on Preston and then there is one just east of Preston on Park (near Patrizio restaurant).

I will be joining the supper club solo.

Ok, we are still on for November 1st at 6pm. At the meeting we decided that whoever is hosting the supper club for the month, would decide on the "theme" of the dinner. The hostess will provide the main dish, while everyone else volunteers their own side dishes, etc. We thought while the club was small and new it would be fun to actually prepare the meal together so we can learn from each other. For the first meal, I would like to propose a Casual French theme. I will be cooking "Cotes de Porc." I got the recipe right off the home page of the Cooking Light website. There are several recipes there to give you ideas, but please don't feel limited by those. I will also provide all of the drinks. We already have a volunteer for dessert and one for a side dish. Each person will be responsible for bringing the ingredients for their own dish. It may be necessary to cook some things ahead of time, but that can be decided as everyone decides on their dishes. Please e-mail me with the dish you would like to bring, along with the cooking materials (i.e. pans, processor, etc) and the cooking/baking method so I can determine if I have everything that is needed. I am probably late, but I see two members of a former club. We had a great time but most of the members lived in Fort Worth and the drive was just too long. I live really close to 75 just north of LBJ and am very interested in forming or joining a supper club. It is great fun and my daughter has been a member for 3 years of one. My husband is a custom home builder and I am a Realtor. I love to cook.
