I would be interested in joining a club in the North-of-Portland area. I live in Gray which is about 20 minutes north of the city, and also convenient to the Lewiston/Auburn, Raymond, Freeport or Brunswick areas.

Hi

It would be nice if we can get a group together. I was thinking 8 - 10 people would be good. therefore, dinner at each house every 4-5 months if we could get together each month. What do you think? What type of format would the dinners be - pot lock +/- receipes, or ??? (our kitchen is small so would be hard for everyone to cook without bumping into each other.) my boyfriend and i are in early forties, enjoy ethnic cooking\, and love to try new foods...

I would be interested in a supper club in Southern Maine. I live in Portland. It looks like there is a fair amount of interest in starting a club in this area.

I would be interested in joining or starting a supper club in the Portland area as well. I love to cook and think it would be fun to get together every month or so. Let's do it!

:) I am very interested in starting or being part of a supper club in the Lewiston/Auburn area. I live in Lewiston and would be glad to have a first planning meeting at my home - possibly on a late Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I live 5 minutes from exit 13 on the Maine Turnpike.

Please contact me, whoever is interested. We can plan a date and I will get directions out.

HI,

We are having the 2nd meeting of the Maine Supper Club at April Shelton's on Saturday, Nov 15th. Perhaps you would lkike to attend. A. Shelton is coordinating the meeting since it is in her home. The theme is: the hearty, warming foods of winter.

Hi,

This month we have to limit the number of people who attend to 12 people since the host has a small home. Our next meeting is in Dec.
Pleasae feel free to join and come. If you will send me your e-mail, I will send you information on the dinner tomorrow and the Dec. one.
Look forward to meeting you.

Hi,

I would like to form a new supper club in the Lewiston/Auburn area. We dissolved the one that was successfully running for about a year since 1 person moved to northern Maine, another person's job took her to the UK too often and a 3rd couple were new to Maine from California and actively spread their political point of view, polarizing the club.

I think 5 or 6 couple or pairs are a great size, shared interest in food and expermienting with new dishes is a lot of fun.

Please contact me if you are interested in forming a new group.
