I'm looking for someone to start a Supper Club with in the SW Michigan/NW Indiana area (Michiana area). Anyone else interested? Marrieds or singles, adults or family-oriented, I just love to cook & get together with friends, new and old. But I love to EAT good food most of all!

Jody-
I was reading my newest issue of Cooking Light this morning and saw the Supper Club article. Tonight I planned to come home and check their website, and saw your posting. I would love to be involved in a Supper Club in the Michiana area. I love to cook and have tried many recipes from Cooking Light. Count me in if you want to start a Supper Club or want help starting a Club. It sounds like fun!

I'd love to join a local supper club. I've subscribed to CL forever (it seems) and it's my favorite cooking magazine. The idea of a supper club is very appealing. I always gravitate to the same type of recipes and I'd enjoy having others to help me expand my repertoire.

A Michiana Supper Club--yea! I moved to Soouth Bend about a year ago and have been meaning to look into a supper club. Let me know when you would like to get together to talk specifics.:)

I would love to be involved in a supper club in the Michiana area. I am a married mother of two and a novice cook but very enthusiastic.

OK ladies! Let's set something up. I've got 2 other people who are interested in joining us. I would suggest that we all meet some evening in some local restaurant to get aquainted and make some more plans. I don't necessarily want to be the "President" and I certainly don't want to make all the plans, so let's have some input here, what would you like to do?
Looking forward to meeting everyone before the holidays I hope!

I could get together next weekend(Nov 1st or 2nd) or on the following thursday(Nov. 6). As far as restaurants are concerned, there is a great coffee shop in South Bend called Lula's--but I'm not sure if they are open for dinner. If they are, it would be a nice casual place to get together and talk. I don't know any of the restaurants in Niles--any suggestions?

Lula's would be fine with me! I love that place! I would prefer getting together on the weekend, Nov.1 or 2, rather than the 6th. We will all be on the same time by then so that makes it easier for everyone. There's not a lot in Niles unfortunately,....Wait! There's the new Riverfront Cafe on Front St. & I've been dying to go in there! If you remember the old H.I.'s, it's in that building. If no one has any objections, that's where I would really like to go. They've spent an absolute TON of $$$ on a coffeehouse that I'm not too sure will go over in Niles, but let's give them the business if we can.
Any one else?
