This is great so there are six of us interested to start a club in LI. I am not sure of everyone’s schedule, (work, family, etc) but I would like to set up a meeting either in the evening during the week or on a Saturday afternoon. I think that Commack would be convenient since we all seem to be between Huntington and Smithtown and it is not to far from the Sunken Meadow or Northern State for the person on the South Shore. There is a big Starbucks on Jericho Tpk in a shopping center on the corner of Town Line Road. Perhaps next Wednesday evening (9/10) about 6:30pm or Next Saturday (9/13) at about 3pm. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi, so it looks like Wednesday may be the better day. I suggested 6:30pm and it sounds like that may be a good time for everyone.

The Starbucks I suggested is located at 6401 Jericho TPK, Commack. 631-858-1495

Directions from the west: (courtesy of Mapquest)
- Take the Northern State Parkway go to exit number 42N- toward CR-66 N/NORTHPORT.
- Merge onto DEER PARK RD. 0.99 Miles
- DEER PARK RD becomes E JERICHO TURNPIKE/NY-25, going East. 2.18 Miles
- Starbucks on the left side in a small Shopping center. If you come to the fork in the road where Jericho (25) and Vets Hwy (454) split you went too far.

Directions from the East:
Take Jericho tpk (25) to the corner of Town Line Road (on the north side) or Commack Road (on the South side) and it is in the shopping center on the right side.

I will bring a sign for the "Supper Club" and meet you all there.

For the first meeting we should probably discuss the following:
1. How often and where can we meet.
2. Should we have themes or mix it up.
3. Do we want to meet with significant others or not (or maybe sometimes).
4. Cook together or separately .
5. How to be sure it is always fun.

Please bring ideas, questions, etc. and I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi, It's always great to have new people interested in joining us. We have already had our first meeting and it went really great. I am suggesting we meet next Thursday, October 16th to discuss joining. Previously we held the intro meetings at Starbucks in Commack, (See above for details). Let me know if this is ok for you and if 6:30pm works. If not please suggest an alternative.
