Count me in too! I think meeting at a restaurant is a great idea. I was trying to think of kind of a quiet place where we could all hear each other talk. Maybe the Grove Grill? Any other suggestions?:confused:

I am drawing a complete blank on a quiet place--Grove Grill would work and seems pretty central. The only other places that come to mind are Amerigo's and Napa Cafe (I am not sure they are really setup for too many tables for more than 4 people). Lulu Grille is quiet, but again I am not sure how large of a party they can handle. ????

Meeting at a restaurant sounds like a great idea to me also. I am also new in town, and do not know where the restaurants that ya'll mentioned are located. Sounds like the Midtown area/East Memphis area, which works for me. How about trying to meet one evening the week of September 15th?

Napa Cafe is a great suggestion! I ate there for lunch a few weeks ago and even with 2 large parties seated in there it was pretty quiet and I would say that it is pretty much in the center of the city. I will be out of town Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th but I can meet any night Mon-Thur(15th through 18th). I just called and Napa is open for dinner 5-9:30.

The week of the 15th is a busy one for me--I am only free on Tuesday the 16th or Wednesday the 17th. I could also do Sunday the 14th if that is better. I promise I am usually more flexible!

Madcox: Napa Cafe is in the same business section as the big new Paradisio (sp??) Malco movie theater, kind of behind and to the east of the theater. If you head north on White Station from Poplar, turn left at the light onto Sanderlin. Turn into the first shopping center on your left. It is in the middle of the "strip" behind the Fox and the Hound.

Thanks for the directions. I know where that is at. Tuesday the 16th works for me. If that works for everyone, what time should we meet? 6:00 pm? I am open to anytime after 5:30 pm.

Some of us met on Tuesday night and decided that we should meet for the first supper club on Sat, October 11. If anyone couldn't make the meeting and is interested, feel free to email me and I will make sure you get on our email list.
