Anyone out there interested in a supper or dinner club in Indianapolis? We live on the south side. Interested in all types of cuisine, especially vegetarian.

Hi, we have one with 10 of us already, but we're always open to more members. There's been one or two more lately to check up on us :-)
We live on all sides of town. I live in Castleton (and there's one more of us there), a few are on the westside, one in Broad Ripple, one downtown, one in Carmel and one on the southside. If you're interested in more, send me a pm, or we can email....

Hi!
I am thinking of trying to form a second CL supper club in the Indy area. If you're interested, just send me a note. If we start from the beginning, we'll all be newbies together! :)
You can e-mail me at hostmomdawn@yahoo.com if you're interested!

I don't know if Juile O is out there watching, but I'll let her know about this one, too. I've been emailing her about ours...

I live on the NE side, too. I'm training for a marathon (Honolulu Marathon, December 14th, through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training), the fitness part sounds interesting. I'm single and have a lot of time on hands lately (aside from running at the moment). I love meeting new people and would be interested if you all would have me, keep me posted.

Ok, running a marathon will not be me, but I do workout! :)
So, where do we stand? Do we want to try to get together? We live in Greenfield, and I know not a lot of people live out this way, but maybe we could all meet somewhere in Indy to chat and talk about possibilities.
What do you think?

Don't worry I'm not looking to run a marthon, either. Although I do salute anyone is can.
We should get together. There are several great coffee shops as well as the various libraries. Would it be better to meet during the week in the evening or on weekend morning?

What about meeting somewhere on the eastside since someone mentioned Greenfield? Maybe Lord Ashley's, or if someone's not necessarily into cocktails there's restaurants and things out there....

It wouldn't make much difference to me about whether we met during the week in the evening or on the weekend.
Lynn ~ is Lord Ashley's the one on Washington Street?

Yeah, it' the one out on east Washington Street, there's a Ritter's in front of it and it's right before you get to Cherry Tree Plaza.

Lord Ashley's sounds great to me! Looking at my calendar, I could meet this thursday evening the 11th or Saturday the 13th in the afternoon. Next week I could do the 17th or 18th in evening or Saturday Morning. As soon as we know when I'd be willing to make up some flyers to put out around the area to see if other's are interested. OR we can just meet to plan our strategy. What do you think?

Hi--I'm just getting connected with this bulletin board. I'm moving back to Indiana (born and raised) in a couple weeks and am interested in gettting connected with a CL supper club. I saw several postings about a club in the Indianapolis area that is incorporating a fitness perspective also. Does anyone have room for another person? If so, I'd definitely be interested. Thanks

Welcome back to Indiana! We are just getting a club started on the eastside. We had been talking about meeting for cocktails &/or coffee, but haven't done so yet. When do you move back? Perhaps we can hold off until you get settled.
I would really like to get at least the fitness component going soon, before cold weather hits and I sink down into my couch.
If you are still interested you can shoot me an email at

Hope to hear from you!

Hi everyone, are we still working on a date to meet? As far as the fitness part goes... I'm a member at LifeTime fitness on 86th Street (behind Bravo, which is on the back side of Castleton Square Mall). I'm up for meeting anyone who would like to go. I usually have to run on Mondays (which I can't today since it's raining, so my whole schedule is off), Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I also like going out to Ft. Harrison. Every other Saturday I have group training for my marathon. I don't run all that fast (10.5 to 12 minute miles). I also don't mind walking with someone, I do my running mileage in the mornings so I could walk or bike (although I ususally do that on flat ground) after work or on the weekends.
Lynn :-)
p.s. yoderpc, what side of town are you moving to, just out of curiosity?

I was rained out on running today, too. I even set my alarm early so I could get up and go. :(
As far as meeting, my schedule is pretty open with Mon & Wed. evenings being the best, Sunday evenings are also a good time for me. Lord Ashley's still sounds like a good spot.
Lynn, I would love to go running/walking at Fort Harrison sometime. I am just starting to run though. I am currently doing 3 min run/3 min walk for 30 min. I also do Yoga at home and a simple free weight routine.
