Since you have your email listed for the reply, it's hard to know if you've been helped. But I've looked in the past two years' annuals ('00 & '01) with no luck and in The Complete Cooking Light Cookbook-nothing there either. So if you still need it let us know and maybe someone else has it.

I have been looking for that recipe, too! It is mentioned in the "Letters" column of the Jan/Feb 01 issue so it should be printed on the CL web site eventually! I say "eventually", because as of yesterday anyway, they still only had Dec 00 and back posted. But keep checking - and I will, too!

I don't have with me, but it was in CL twice, I believe. The first time in the issue about the Healthy Kids Challenge in the school in Birmingham, AL. I believe it was in CL again recently..if nobody has it by the time I get home, I will post it. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Here you go - it is on page 144 of the Complete Cooking Light Cookbook:
Anzac Biscuits
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup regular oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons water
1/4 cup stick margarine or butter, melted
2 Tablespoons golden cane syrup (such as Lyle's Golden Syrup) or light colored corn syrup
Cooking spray
1. Preheat oven to 325
2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup, and level with a knife. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, coconut, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Add water, margarine, and syrup, and stir well
3. Drop by level tablespoons 3 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray (cookies will spread). bake at 325 for 12 minutes or until almost set. Cool on pans 2-3 minutes or until firm. Remove cookies from pans; cool completely on wire racks. Yield: 2 dozen (serving size: 1 cookie)
Can anyone help me? I lost the recipie for Anzac Biscuits. I'm not sure when it was printed. I tried looking it up on the site , but it is not available. I would be greatful if anyone has it. THANKS! porter_2@pacbell.net
