DC Couples Supper Club

My husband and I just moved to DC. We love to cook and meet new people. Is there any interest in starting a couples supper club to meet in DC one Saturday a month?

We also just moved to the area. We live in Silver Spring, but would be interested. Did you have restaurant meetings or home meetings in mind?

I was thinking we could start by meeting in a restaurant to decide on a game plan. Then, we could meet at each others' houses. However, this isn't set in stone...I'm open to new suggestions!

My fiance and I are moving to Alexandria,VA on the 27th of this month. I love cooking and am trying to get him to be more confident at it. Sounds like a supper club would be a great way to meet couples in our new area! Please keep me informed with the developments. jenner42@yahoo.com

Hi! My husband and I are also new to the DC area and we would be interested in getting involved in a supper club. We live in NW DC. Getting together at a restaurant some evening to kick things off sounds like a good idea. I don't know the restaurant scene in the city too well, but maybe somewhere around Dupont Circle sometime in the next few weeks?

Is everyone still interested? October is going to be a horribly busy month for me, but if someone else is interested in coordinating a kick off meeting, I attend if I'm around. Otherwise, I'd be happy to try to coordinate something for early/mid November.

We are very interested! October is busy for us too. We would be available the weekend of October 25th. After that, we won't be available until November 15th or 22nd. We're happy to wait until November if that will work best. Anyone else interested?

The last few weeks have been really frantic, so I dropped the ball on this a bit, but now that things are quieter, I'd love to try to get this started!

Is anyone else interested in getting together in the Dupont Circle area? Any weekend between now and Thanksgiving would work for my husband and I. Sunday evening might be easier to arrange than Saturday, but we're open to any and all suggestions.
