Hi all,

I am planning to make this as a side for dinner tonight - has anyone tried it yet? Any reviews, tweaks, etc?

Thanks! :)

I wouldn't change a thing! We had it at supper club, and I liked it so much that I made it again just for a family dinner. My one-year-old also loved it.

Well, I did end up making it last night, and it's great! I didn't change a thing, aside from halving the recipe. DH and I will definitely be making this again - I love savory/sweet dishes, especially ones with dried fruit. I think that this could be very good served cold as well, or with different dried fruits such as cranberries, mangos, etc.

We served this alongside the Spiced Chicken Thighs (made with breasts), also from September. PERFECT pairing - the sweet from the side dish really set off the curry/garam masala flavors of the chicken. I tore up the leftover chicken, and mixed it up with the leftover couscous, and am enjoying it right now for lunch. It's really good! :)

Rebecca -- I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the couscous! Thanks for letting us know it goes well with the Spiced Chicken Thighs, since those are on my list to try. I served the couscous with Bourbon-Glazed Pork Chops & Peaches from June, and they went really well with that too.
