Houston Tx Club??

Is there a Houston club with room for another or are there people who would like to start one? I am inside the Loop but location is not critical.

Hi - I am definatly interested. I've seen posts about Houston groups before, but I'm not sure if anything got off the ground. I'm just outside the loop (Garden Oaks).

Keeper...thanks for the response, I am hoping there will be a few others in the next week or so. I have a couple of friends that might be interested once we have 4-6 others interested. I am totally flexible on the day and format but would like to get a diverse group. Anyway, more if and when we get some others interested.

I've been trying to get a supper club together and after a good response ant the beginning, nothing ever materialized. I would love to be included in this endeavor. :-) Just let me know - and I also have several friends that wouldn't mind being included. I'm very interested in meeting new people and doing so by cooking - one of my favorite activities :-) Let me know! Amanda

I just sent an email asking everyone interested to reply with info - also, if it's not too late, can you all let me know when would be a good time to meet for our planning meeting? Are there some days that are strictly off limits, etc? If you haven't gotten the email, please send one to me with your name, location, email address and your interests/vision for the supper club - along with free dates to meet. Thanks! I'm not sure if anyone still checks this board... but here I go anyways... This is just a repeat of what was in the email I forwarded to everyone. And if there are new people interested, they can sign on to Yahoo! and check us out! :-)

I'm not sure if this message came through to you guys or not. I have set up a Yahoo! group page for the supper club. If you could take a minute and go to the site - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/houstonsupperclub/ - I believe there is a link there that you will click on that says "Join Group". After you join the group, you can enter the link called "Polls" and vote for days that you might be able to meet for our first meeting. If you've already done this, I'm sorry to bother you with this extra email - if not, please do so soon. :-) I also posted a message at the group site about this weekend - I'm not going to be around, but if you all decided that this weekend was best, you could set up a meeting without me and just let me know what the plans are. It's up to you guys. I'll keep checking the polls and message boards and hopefully we can get this started before the holidays! :-)
