Darn! Another one to add to my Christmas collection....maybe I will try them today. Today is a day of baking for me. Just got through making Natasha's and Emilycat's recipes. Awesome! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

These cookies are sooo good! They are not too sweet and you almost feel you're eating "healthy" food. I took them to my friend's house when we were invited there for dinner. Everyone loved them.

I am a little slow with my Christmas cookie baking; I just made these today. They are fabulous and very easy. I did use the black pepper but not quite 1/4 tsp. Yumyumyum

Surprisingly these cookies turned out to be the favorites all (including my grandfather who doesn't like anything!!) from the 4 I made for Christmas: the spicy oatmeal, (Raspberry Stripers--also very good), a nutty finger type, and the carmel-pecan bars.

I made these before Christmas and added mini chocolate chips on a whim. I think that the chips made them too sweet. I'll have to try these again.
