Isn't there a website where you can find free shipping codes, discount codes, etc? It seems like I've seen this talked about here on the boards but am having no luck searching. Can anyone help?? I'm ordering a big order from E. Bauer and hate to pay the shipping.

One thing you can do is sign up at ebates.com, a click through site that pays rebates for purchases at many sites. Here (http://www.ebates.com/affiliate_landing.jsp?promotion_code=REF1&eeid=13840&banner=9710&referrer=eas11@hotmail.com&refpageid=1 )is a sign up link (in the interest of full disclosure, this is a friend referral link from my account). After you use a click through to get to a particular site, you can also apply coupons. I usually find mine Here (http://dealhunting.com) but you can also google for coupons for a particular store.
I've saved alot of $$$ with both ebates and coupons combined. Good luck!

Oooh, I didn't know such a thing existed! Boy I wish I had known about this sooner - I order tons of stuff and hate to pay shipping too. I hope someone comes up with it!
I just ordered honeycomb shades (top down/bottom up) from Smith and Noble yesterday. The outdated catalog I had had a $50 off offer. I entered into the code section on the online order form anyway, knowing it was expired. Someone from customer service called me this morning (as I thought they would) to tell me it had expired. I asked them about any new promotions and she claimed to not know what they were, and that it was the customer's responsibility to supply the promotional code. I said "Don't you have a recent catalog near you? (Mind you my order was for over $600) You work for the company and you can't find out about your own promotions?" She put me on hold, and came back with the newest promotion that was $100 off!!! I was very happy. But it was like pulling teeth, let me tell you.

I usually just search for the name of the online retailer plus "promotion" or "code." I find something most of the time...

Thanks everyone! I've bookmarked these for future use. I was hoping for free shipping at Eddie Bauer ($300 order, you'd think they'd ship for free) but there was nothing available. But, I found another code for Best Buy for another order I'm placing. I'm doing lots of shopping by internet this year-I trying to see how much christmas shopping I can get done without hitting the stores!!!
Thanks again!!!

I also check these two sites, although they typically have the same offers:
www.edealfinder.com
www.dealcatcher.com
Just click on "list stores" and then search for the store you're buying from. :D

I use a site called Amazing Bargains (http://www.amazing-bargains.com) I've also tried the method of searching for the store name (like Amazon.com) and then code, but Amazing Bargains seems to be pretty comprehensive.

Thanks for everyone's input on this thread. I just saved 20% on my Eddie Bauer order (promotional code EBINVITEU - expiration 11/3). That's pretty good for Eddie Bauer as there wasn't a minimum order requirement. :D

Luika, I saw that deal too! I just got my EB stuff, and had to take most of it back because of bad fit - now I've got to try to wrangle the shipping charges out of them.
Ralph, cangoss and munchies - thanks for the links! I've got them bookmarked for future shopping. You're great!
Ralph, will I be meeting you and your LW in November?? What a treat that you both can make the trip.

currentcodes is a great site. I use it all the time, and it has saved me a ton of money! :) I never shop online now without checking there first.

Thanks for starting this post! I've been looking at a sofa at Eddie Bauer and the 20% discount just saved me $300! I was having a difficult time deciding between EB and one from Pottery Barn, but the discount really helped make my decision! :D My new sofa will be delivered on 12/10 why so long?
Thank you Thank you Thank you! This board is full of such great info.
