Hi, has anyone ever made the Ragu Sauce?
I am Italian so I grew up with homemade "traditional" sauce so I am really picky, but this sauce recipe sounds great. Any feedback?

Is this the one with the portobello mushrooms from a few months back? If so, I made it and thought it was pretty good, despite its very unappetizing color. As I recollect, the only seasonings were s&p, so I did a little improvising. I don't know if that's authentic, but I liked it better that way.

That said, that is the only time I've made it. DH is more of a tomato sauce kind of guy.

I have made several Ragus from different cook books as well as a CL one. It is worth making although the cooking time is long. IF you want me to post one for you I will. Let me know.
