I could find 3 recipes. I only found reviews for the Bundt cake (I don't have a bundt pan -which can be easily remedied:-)but I am more concerned about the sticking problem since it is for a potluck)
The recipe is from '00

the other two are older recipes.

Please help me choose.

I've only tried the bundt cake and I have to tell you...it's fantastic  If you want it to be even more sinfully delicious, double the streusel! :D I would highly recommend this one.
And hey, you get a new pan!

I made the one from March 98 once, and it was very good -- it looked just like the picture (always a proud moment!) and tasted like the one served on the country club buffet from my childhood.

My mom made the three-layer one years ago--certainly NOT low calorie!!! It was absolutely sublime. The only cake that surpassed it was her fresh coconut--indescribable!!

Shar -- That's the one I made -- I was so proud of my first layer cake.

Thanks for your comments.
I'll make the 3-layer one from 1998 'morrow for the potluck. But, I am going to make the Bundt cake sometime later for my close friends.
And Shar, You should get the coconut cake recipe from your mom....if it is not too much trouble...please, please.
(I love coconut):)

The best German Chocolate cake recipe is on the inside of the Baker's German Chocolate bar of chocolate you need for the cake. My mother made this for years and it's incredible. Not light and takes tons of time but the work is worth it.
