We've started this thread before, and I thought I'd re-open it again. There are a few couples already interested in getting this going, and we were looking for a few more people/couples to join us. Currently the interested parties seem to be in Oakland (my husband and me), Teaneck and Fair Lawn. Correct me if I've missed anyone, OK?

If all interested parties could respond, then we could see our final headcount and get this ball rolling! I have recipes I'm itching to try out, and a new dining room set coming in a few weeks that needs christening!!!!!! :D

Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks for re-posting the thread, Anne. My husband and I are still interested in Teaneck and ready to go forward. Hopefully we'll get a few more interested parties, I'll keep watching the postings too.

Hi, I joined this thread because I'm a writer living in Bergen County and I'm interested in writing an article for Bergen Health & Life magazine about supper clubs in BC. Did you get yours off the ground yet? I'd love to find out about it. Thanks!

Not yet, Carol, but we are close. There are 3-4 couples ready to move to the next level. We are just waiting to see if anyone esle wants to join us before starting it.

I don't know if that fits your timeframe or not - if so, keep in touch and let us know if we can help.

Anne

Hi there. I was a part of the last thread, but I don't think it got off the ground. My husband and I live in Morris County. I am definitely interested (but hoping for something a little more up this way)... he doesn't cook, but loves to eat, so I'm open to couples, women, or whatever.

I sent Missindi an e-mail. Any other women in Morris County looking to start a supper club?

I am looking to join a supper club in my area (Morris County, NJ). Please contact me if there are still openings available in yours. I am married, but not quite sure if my husband could attend all of the supper clubs since his work hours vary. Are single individuals allowed to join or is this just a couple's supper club.? I look foward to hearing from you!

Hi there! "Shoes" and I look like we're starting a Morris County one on our own. And I don't believe either of our husbands will be attending (mine doesn't cook, just likes to eat!), except maybe for specific parties, get-togethers, etc. Drop me a line and we'll see what we can do to coordinate.

Anne, I'm working on ideas for the future, so definitely keep me posted on your progress with the supper club. I'm hoping to find a few more people who are doing it in Bergen County so that I can officially call it a "trend."

I too would love to join a Morris County club. My husband is not a cook, but he's definitely an eater. We're vegetarian and would love to join a veggie group or one that's veggie friendly. I'm a big fan of side dishes.

HI Sadiemom's Dog!
I sent you an email with a little more information about our Morris County Supperclub. We have already started the group, but would love to have you join. We are veggie friendly! Presently, the group has four women in it! We look forward to hearing from you!

Jeannette - it's Sadiedog's Mom -- not Sadiemom's Dog -- that was my laugh of the day!

Sadie: To second Jeannette's invitation... our husbands don't cook either, so it's just the women meeting (with the exception of special occasions), so it sounds like you'd fit right in!
