Some of our southern California BBers have noted that it is hard to get information on the fires.

My husband came across the site below. It's not supercurrent (it's now about 8:30 am PT and the map was most recently updated at 3:00 am) but perhaps it is better than nothing.

I have 2 sisters in So Cal that I haven't been able to get in touch with in the past few days, and I have really been wanting to know exactly where the fires are. Thanks a lot for posting that, it has helped put my mind at ease, as the fires are not too close to where my sisters live.

My thoughts and prayers are with all who live in that area and their families as well.

It has been a very weird few days here in So Cal. Yesterday in Ventura it was so hazy I didn't see the sun until late afternoon and ashes were swirling like snowflakes in the air. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates. . .
