I'm going on VACATION!!!

DH and I try to go away every year for our anniversary (Sept. 25). As some of you may remember, our dear kitty got very ill this year (she ate a lily) so we ended up spending our vacation money nursing her back to health.

Well DH and I just paid for (and it was very reasonable) a Valentine's Day trip to...drum roll...

THAILAND :D

We will be going on a 12 day tour. I'm soooo excited that I had to share!

Woo Hoo! Where exactly will you be going Melinda? I went in 2001 and have to say it's a fascinating country and the people are SO NICE. Don't miss the opportunity to try a Thai massage. I had a 2 hour one! A suggestion: We took a couple days and went to see the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. That's a very doable side trip from Bangkok. They are as awesome as the pyramids and I'd highly recommend seeing them. Make sure you hit the River City Mall for some great shopping, the Jim Thompson house is a great visit (both in Bangkok) and if you're looking for a truly wonderful hotel The Peninsula (right on the river) is the living end. You're going to have an unforgettable trip.
