How do you fit kids into your club?

We're mean and we don't. :D Supper Club is a Mommmy & Daddy thing and the kids stay with a babysitter or DH's parents. :D

We are doing a dinner group thing through church where kids are included. But that's a short term thing (3-4 months).

I agree with Leigh, I have two small boys and they stay at home with grandpa and grandma while mom and dad get a rare night out. There are many events that they join us at, but this is grown up fare and it is nice to have something to look forward to for ourselves.

I have to say as I agree fully with the other ladies who replies. Our lives are full of "family" and children geared activities. I generall dream all month of sitting down with six other "grown ups" and eating a whole meal with no "eeww what is that" and "Mom I'm full can I have some cookies?" We get a babysitter, get dressed up and make a "date" night of it.

we started our club just after our son was born and one of the other couples was trying and now has a baby, the other couple have an older girl of 7. They are with us as we wanted a group that was kid friendly. It works for us while I will say there have been times that it has not been totaly relaxing to have him there and we have questioned leaving him with a sitter. He is almost 2 now. For the most part I am glad it is a child oriented group but I can also see how having it be just adults has it;s pluses as well.

There's no option for those for whom it's not an issue! None of us have kids, so there's no problem at all!
