View Full Version : Question for Alysha - Choc Crackle Cookies
hi - i am going to make the chocolate crackle cookie recipe you have posted on the BB. i think that i recall you saying you don't bother to shape them into logs - do you just drop them like regular cookies? 1 Tbsp size or how big? i want to make sure i get the cooking time correct. thanks and i cannot wait to try them!

Hi Jen,
Hmmm...I don't quite remember how big I made them, but I would say bigger than 1 T - maybe 1 1/2 T? But 1 T would be fine too - sometimes I like a bigger cookie so that I don't have to bake too many, but if I want the batch to go further, a smaller cookie is better. I would go ahead and make them any size you wish and then just keep an eye on them. You can tell they are done when they start to crack on top.
I just decided that if I was not going to be freezing the dough, that rolling them into logs was just another step that takes up time. They seemed to come out just fine my way too. :)
Alysha
thanks for your quick reply alysha - 1 more question though - did you roll each blob of cookie dough in the powdered sugar before baking then?
