Slightly different variation on chili - there isn't much liquid to start, but the tomatoes create more liquid during the cooking.
Easy to make, and I would recommend seeding the jalapeno - the spicy V8 juice is spicy! Plus you're adding a tablespoon of chili powder.

Interesting. I made this last night - used canned diced tomatoes instead of real, everything else the same and I found it to be too bland. I added 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce (and a few splashes of adobo sauce) and found it much livelier. And I don't gravitate towards spicy food in general, I just found that when I tasted it was thin. Lacking depth, needed oomph!
But overall, I enjoyed the recipe. Tasty, easy, a good lunch to tote to work. Thumbs up!
