Avatar Question

This may be somewhere on the boards, but I didn't see it. I have several avatars of the correct size saved in My Pictures on my hard drive. I am not getting any avatar (except the ones provided by this site) to show up. I clicked on Use Custom Avatar, browsed and opened the avatar I wanted, and submitted. Is it because I don't have enough posts, or am I doing something else wrong? I know I have used avatars on other message boards before. Thanks!!

It's my understanding that the CL site doesn't allow you to upload images from your hard drive, even though it says that you can. I know that other people have had that same problem.

If you upload your graphic to a website (try www.imagestation.com) you should be able to get it from there. Or if the graphic exists in the proper dimensions already on another site, use the image link from there (the link should end in .gif or .jpg).

Jazzmatazz I had the same problem. My avatar worked once I loaded the image onto another website and used the URL (of the image, not the site!).
