I am looking for a nice quality toy car garage for my son's birthday. I found one in a catalog, and then someone recycled the catalog! Now I can't figure out what catalog it was. It was from one of those catalogs that specializes in wooden toys, and it was priced under $50. (Although I have seen some promising ones for a bit more than that...)

I hope someone out there can make a good recommendation. What have your kids liked?

Thanks!

Laurie

Well, I thought I had seen one in the Constructive Playthings catalog, but after thumbing through it I only saw a plastic garage and a wooden train station. Their website is www.constplay.com in case you want to check it out. I have had good luck with their stuff in the past.
Good luck! I can remember looking high and low when my DS decided he wanted Santa to bring him an excavator!!

I don't know if they have a garage, but Back to Basics Toys (http://www.backtobasicstoys.com/orstore/default.aspx) has a lot of nice wooden toys, so you might look there.

One other thought if you don't have your heart set on a wooden garage. We have a Fisher Price Little People garage which has been played with hard for over 4 years and it has held up really well.

Do you have a Tuesday Morning? The one I shop at often carries nice wooden toys, and I have seen a wooden garage there, and for cheaper than you would probably find elsewhere.
