Right now, I'm thoroughly annoyed. Somehow, a letter of recommendation was LOST when I turned in my application for grad school. The committee is reviewing my stuff on Friday and told me last night at 4:30 PM (while I was already at work) that my application was incomplete.

I can't believe this ...

Oh, that's very annoying and very unprofessional of someone not to keep eveything together. Hopefully the person who wrote the letter has a copy of it in his/her files.

MK, hope you get another copy of that letter. My stepmom, in her student days used to ask for and keep multiple copies of reccomendations. In sealed envelopes, so tehre was no question of authenticity of course
