I need help coming up with proper phrasing. Our move to a new town means a new school and teacher for my DD, it also means saying goodbye to her current teacher. :(

The school is in a new building and as a trade off for this they
had to cut costs in oter areas. The library has a
limited number of books so the kids can only read them at school not check them out.
My daughter's teacher has a classroom library-two shelves worth:D -that her kids can select books from.
As a goodbye and thank-you gift we've purchased a copy of one of my daughter's favorite books. I'd like to include a small laminated sheet with a picture of my daughter and some sort of a dedication to the teacher/class libray to go in the front of the book. I'm having a hard time coming up with something more than "To Mrs. F's Class Library From Katie" that doesn't sound sappy. Any Ideas?

How about some words from your daughter about the book and about her teacher?

"This is my favorite book because I think spot is a fun dog. Mrs. F's class was great because she let us take home books since we couldn't from the library. The thing I will miss most about this school is all the friends I have made here....."

You get the idea. You don't say how old your daughter is, but I bet if you asked, she could come up with something good herself (with maybe a little editing from you ;))

Thanks, that's a great idea. BTW, she's 6.
