The few months ago there was some interest in starting a west MI club but nothing got rolling. I live in b/w GR & K-Zoo and would like to meet once a month. Although I'm interested in participating I don't have time to be a "leader" :)

We have an existing group if you'd like to come. Even if you just want to see how we run ours and start your own. We'd love to have guests!

We meet once a month at rotating member's houses. We usually cook from the prior month's CL issue, and choose our recipes at the meeting. I'm not sure when our next meeting is, however if you are interested in attending I'll let you know when it is and you can come along.

Thanks Debie! How many members do you have? Do you actually cook together or does each person/couple bring a dish? Are you all in GR? ...sorry if I sound like a newbie, but I am :) I have seen your reviews before and it sounds like great fun. I really would like to get into a group like this.

It's all girls. We do usually cook together, we try to bring stuff already chopped, sauteed, etc. If I can make my dish ahead I try to because of space issues. Most of us are in GR, two members are in Grand Haven.

We really have a great time!

Debie - Thank you so much for the invite! I really would like to get into a group like this. I would love to have a group where spouses are brought as well though. My hubby and I really enjoy doing things together, especially something like this. I have a few medical things coming up that I need to deal with so I think I will try again in a few months to see who might be out there. I went and read a few of your reviews from the meetings in the past and you seem to have a wonderful time.
