I thought this recipe was really delicious! The chicken is extremely moist and tender, and nicely browned on the outside. And even if you don't normally like bitter greens, the escarole is key to offsetting some of the sweetness of the sauce. I didn't have "small" shallots, so I just chopped them up and sauteed them for a few minutes before adding to the pot. We served this over couscous, and it was perfect. It was very easy to make, too. I'd definitely repeat this one. (from December CL 03---I always forget to mention that!)
