Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post this message after my cat almost choked on some styrofoam packing from a box (early Christmas gift)!
He likes to play in boxes so we unpacked the gift and made sure all the styrofoam and unfriendly material was outta there. But somehow he found a small piece. I left the room for only 10 minutes--only to hear him choking!
After a brief scare and several frantic phone calls to our vet, he's ok and back to his crazy little self. Styrofoam does not dissolve in the stomach and can cause major harm!
So use extra care this holiday season when you're unwrapping gifts. We thought we had things cleaned up--you never know what they can find.
