Has anyone tried this recipe yet? It's from the November 2000 issue of CL. I'm thinking about trying it tomorrow evening. It looks so good and it has roasted sweet potatoes - one of my favorites! If anyone is interested, I'll let you know how it turns out.

I tried this. It was a bit involved but I thought it was delicious! My husband liked it a lot too. All the different flavors tasted very good together. Hmmmm, now that you've reminded me, I think I'll make it this week! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I love this recipe. It hooked me on sweet potatoes which previously I didn't think I cared for. The whole combination of this meal is wonderful.

I made it last night and really enjoyed it! Very yummy! It was a little involved - but I'd definately make it again.

I am definitely being inspired over here!!! Only one problem, my DH is allergic to pecans and walnuts. What could be substituted instead? Perhaps some of you who have already made it could offer some suggestions on what would be the best alternative. Almonds? Macadamias? Pistachios? Or something else? THANKS MUCH!

LynnB,
I haven't tried this recipe but I think that Pistachios or almonds would do just fine. Hmmmmm...will have to check this recipe out! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I think almonds or pistachios would work fine, too. Let us know which kind of nut you try and how the dish tastes. TIA -- Beth
