Any Evanstonians out there interested in starting a cooking club?

Yes!! Definitely interested in starting up a new cooking club in Evanston -- also have a sister who wants to join in. We're both semi-veg (fish/poultry but no red meat). What is your area of interest?

I can do definitely do semi-veg and also like to eat relatively low-carb. I am 29, married and a zoologist.

Sounds like a good match. Are you interested in involving spouses (in whatever capacity... cooking, or just eating the evidence ;)?

I'm 27 and single (but have a boyfriend who'd be up for participation, if not in prep, definitely to eat!!), live in Evanston, my sister and her husband are 33, and live in Northbrook.

Perhaps we can get together for coffee and discuss possibilities?

Sounds good - do you have thoughts on when/where for a coffee meeting? I work weekdays 8-6.

I work similar hours, and my sister works in Wilmette, on some days until early evening, so let's meet in Evanston around 7-8ish one night -- how about Blind Faith Cafe? That way it can be dinner/coffee/dessert whatever anyone wants at that hour...

How about next week or the week after? Let me know if any evenings are better than others, generally.

Blind Faith sounds great. I am not typically free Wednesday night. We should try and meet this week/weekend. I go out of the country next Tuesday for a couple of weeks.
