problems posting/replying

I am having serious problems posting/replying to threads. Keep getting fatal error message. no matter how many times I refresh. Anyone else getting this?

I never was able to post a reply last night. Now it seesm to be working fine.

I kept getting this message too, and then when I went back to the thread to try again, my post was actually there. I guess now I know how double posts occur.

All day-- and it's getting worse as the day wears along-- I find when I post (particularly when editing) I click "submit reply" get a blink or two on my on-line icon, showing something has transmitted, then activity ceases. If I wait long enough or press submit several times, I may eventually get the fatal error message. If I simply back out of the screen, clicking on the post title, I'll find that my post IS there, but the post won't update on the main board.

Betcha it'll do the same right now... :p

Edited to add: I lose. Worked like a dream. :rolleyes:

Edited a second time to say: However, when I tried to send the last remark, it happened again. Editing seems to be where I have my problems.

Gail, this is where I am having problems too. Mine does eventually say something like "fatal time out" but when I go back and check the post it has actually been edited. Weird! I keep checking now to make sure I don't accidently double post something.

Edited to say: it just happened on my reply to you. "fatal error" but it actually posted again.
