A view of the dining room, with the table all set for dinner (my husband's Victorian Village is that mass of lighted houses in the background!).

The living room, with a temporary table set up and the tree in the background

All of us! In back, Patty, Jenni, Jonie, Nancy, & Christine; sitting are Meridee and Kathleen, and I am on the floor in front

After the party... the last car backed cautiously down the driveway, and DH called for me to put on a coat and come out to the garage to see our house. This photo doesn't really do it justice! There were candles or wreaths lighted in the windows, you could clearly see both the tree in the dining room window and through to the one in the living room. The prettiest thing, though, was how the snow that was softly falling just made the scene so beautiful. He took this photo with a flash, and the light from this illuminated and enlargened the falling snowflakes!

The snow even made the stacks of flagstones (at either side of the sidewalk) look nice! DH will finish laying the rest of the sidewalk/ patio if spring ever comes... sigh... ;)
