Okay, I need some advice. I'm planning to make the smoked salmon/marscapone/capers pizza tonight, so last night I took my dough out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to thaw, because I thought it would take a long time. Well, it was already thawed this morning....so what I'm wondering is, can I just leave it in the refrigerator until this evening, and then let it warm to room temp before I use it? Will it be okay sitting in the refrigerator all day?
Thanks!
Emily

Your dough should be fine in the refrigerator. It may even rise a little, in which case you can just punch it down when you take it out to warm up before using it.

I thaw pizza dough overnight in the refrigerator pretty often, and have never had any trouble. It might be a little sticky when you take it out though. When this happens, I just knead in a little extra flour and it seems to turn out fine. Hope this helps.
