Alias fan begging for help

I know I am not the only Alias (or Michael Vartan) fanatic on these board and I pray that someone can help me out. I had plans with friends this evening and DH promised to record "my show" for me. To make a long story short, he messed up [that is saying it nicely despite being really upset] and it only recorded static. Any Alias fan knows how important it is not to miss an episode.

Last season when this happened I just recorded every remaining episode in the season until the rerun came on. This was really inconvenient and frustrating not being able to talk to people about the show.

Anyhow, I am wondering 1) if anyone recorded tonight's episode; or 2) if someone on the west coast who sees my plea can record it for me. I will pay for the tape, the shipping, and whatever else. Por favor! I need my Alias fix.

I did tape it, but the tape and channel are not the best. If you'd like a less than perfect tape, you're welcome to it. You may want to wait for someone else who has a better tape.

Hellllpppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need it too. I've got a Tivo season pass for it, so I wasn't worried. We were driving home from Vermont so I wasn't here. Sat down to watch it this morning, and Tivo messed up changing the channel. (It does that on occasion on our cable system). :mad: :mad:

Please, I need a copy too. Catharine, do you want to send it to me after you get Lara's copy? I'll pay!

fyi -- I'd miss Alias on occasion too, so I just about died when I found Television Without Pity (www.televisionwithoutpity.com (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com)). They do recaps of Alias (along with other great shows like West Wing) each week. They're done by regular people, so it takes a few days for them to write them, but when they're done, they're great.

The person who writes the Alias recaps is hilarious and I've taken to calling some of the characters by their TWOP nicknames (Sydney's dad and mom are Spy Daddy and Spy Mommy, so when they refer to Irina, I yell out, "Spy Mommy!"

The recaps are very funny, however, they DO poke fun a bit. But I have to be honest and say that she's right on with most of her jibes.

Anyway, just wanted to share my resource for Alias recaps (although NOTHING beats seeing Michael Vartan each week!)

I've been a faithful viewer since the beginning, but I wish they didn't take so many breaks! I've really been getting into the latest episodes.

Oh well, I guess I can watch HBO with DBF for the next few weeks. :)
